Working towards the flatter belly...

We don't believe it is good to obsess or focus too much over any particular body part, but this article has some really great research bits and points about working towards a flatter belly. We keep saying interval training over and over again, and here is more research to point to its fat burning effects as well as some other points we support! Also, more importantly, we believe that core work does not require the one million sit ups or lengthy abdominal workouts to achieve a tighter stomach. Work beyond the superficial muscles...pull that naval in! Suzanne will have your abs shaking in her class within the first 30 seconds! Please give this article a read!

RUAH MIND BODY MOVEMENT: NFL COMBINE TRAINING

Ruah Mind Body Movement: Trained Combine athletes from January-March 2009, at Nashville D1 Sports Training, in a yoga-based stretching program to help the athletes prepare for the NFL Combine 2009.

Pictured (below): Leah Sarago setting up the football players in a lower back stretch after C-curve abdominal holds.

Leah is teaching the importance of relaxing the upper body
over the legs before beginninga spinal roll-up to help
stretch the muscles along the spine.

Every Session ended with 10-15 minutes of relaxation to calming
music. My favorite music pick was El Elolam by John Belt.
